Mio DigiWalkerTM H610 Named One of BusinessWeek's "Best Products of 2006," Devices Flying off Shelves

On display in the Mio Technology booth is the popular Mio DigiWalkerTM H610, widely considered one of the "must have" gifts of the past holiday season. The device was named one of BusinessWeek's "Best Products of 2006," was featured in TIME Magazine's Cool Gear Tech Buyer's Guide; was selected as InformationWeek's GPS of choice in its holiday gift guide and an "Editor's Top Five Holiday Pick" by PC World Canada. A recently updated version of Mio Technology's entry-level navigation device, the Mio DigiWalkerTM C310x is another product sure to attract attention in the booth. The device features improved mapping software and an enhanced interface that makes it easier for users to set and track to their destination. The C310x was one of the top-selling GPS devices this past holiday season. Spurred by its popularity, Mio Technology had industry-leading sales during the week ending Nov. 25, 2006, including "Black Friday." According to The NPD Group, a leading consumer and retail information company, for that week Mio Technology sales led with 37 percent of the personal navigation device market share. Circuit City stores across the nation, for example, sold out of the units within minutes of opening.

The C310x comes pre-loaded with U.S. maps (50 states plus Guam and Puerto Rico), 1 GB of internal memory and more than 3.5 million POIs in one pocket-sized package.

Also on display is the slim, handheld Mio DigiWalkerTM P550, a versatile navigation device, providing full PDA capability, internet access via built-in Wi-Fi, and wireless connectivity with Bluetooth. The device features pre-loaded maps and WorldMateR digital assistant software, which delivers up-to-date travel information and services through an easy PC sync. The P550 offers 2 GB internal memory and is compatible with Windows MobileR 5.0 software.
